I do a lot of thrifting, and am always interested to see what other people bring home from the thrift stores. Here's a few things I've picked up recently.
Gorgeous Cotton Needlepoint Blanket: this is going to be used this on the living room couch, I love needlepoint and the exaggerated stitches and colors just made me buy it! $6.75.
Wicker Basket: I actually pinned an identical one, thinking it was so cute for craft storage. I stumbled upon this one when out on a run (on my neighbors tree lawn), which makes it free! Trash picking never felt so good.
Winter Scene Needlepoint: a little bit granny, I know, but I like that it is square plus the frame is in good shape. This is going to go in the ladies room/guest room. $1.99
Brass Planter: brass is in, what can I say? Planted this coffee plant in it, I think it is a great compliment. $1.99
Fabric Napkins: Red, white, and blue is the bomb, so when I saw those colors striped together I threw these in my basket. There's about 30 of them here (other color combos too), I use them all around the house, in the kitchen, on side tables (rather than a tray to corral my stuff), etc. $0.69
Glass Bowl: I love to have these around for making easy center pieces. This large size is just calling out for a terrarium. $0.69
Large Candle Sticks: These came in a huge bag with all different colors, there were some more but I've already scattered them around the house. $0.99
Small Candle Sticks: Something about the shimmer these little guys have just struck me. $0.29
Macrame String: Someone must have donated a ton of this stuff, because it was all over the store the other day. I restrained myself and only threw one in my basket. Great for fancy package wrapping, and general crafts around the house. $0.99
What have you thrifted lately?
