A while ago for my birthday, Eric took me to Louisville for a little weekend getaway.
We stayed at 21c, a fancy boutique hotel, where each room is decorated differently.
They have an art gallery in the lobby. It was really nice to start off the trip with some free entertainment.
These hot air drums were an art installation outside, they poof rings of steam into the air.
They have a restaurant attached, called Proof, that serves local and seasonal ingredients only. When we went this huge tiger, made out of recycled materials, was on the wall (you're looking at his butt here.) And check out those globe lights, which sat above each table- dreamy!
I was awaiting my 'Kentucky Cousin', a mix of bourbon, sweet tea, and lemon. Highly recommended!
The next morning we got some of the best coffee I've ever had, and headed home. (A real man carries your bag!)
