Our backyard consists of a bunch of Honeysuckle trees, these trees grow like weeds. (Eric's mom chopped one down to the stump, we all laughed at her thinking that will never grow back. Well it did grow back-and it doubled in size in one season.)
They grow intricate nests of little twigs. Thankfully I like to use these sticks for all sorts of projects. Sometimes I just like to throw them in a vase and call it a day.
Always up for a DIY I gathered sticks and this 99 cent thrifted wreath base.
After a ton of furious hot gluing, and stick breaking I came out with a new front door wreath!
Nice right? Only cost 99 cents, plus how ever many glue sticks I went through, which was about a biggillion, so probably $1.99 total. It's not perfect, but that's alright with me.
