Thrift Break.

Dying to thrift all week, I waited till Saturday since I had a thrift date with Eric's mom.  She must have been my lucky charm because boy, did I sore!
Silver Base Lamp: This thing is insanely amazing, I couldn't believe someone hadn't already grabbed it since the store was bustling.  It's a gorgeous solid cylindrical base, with a textured shade.  It's taller than an average lamp, and I couldn't believe my luck when I saw the price tag- 99 cents!!!! Not kidding, no discounts or anything!  Not sure who made/designed it, the bottom has been covered over in felt and it says "Miami Business Offices".
Fiber Art: I've seen these pieces of 'fiber art' randomly around the interwebs, and on eBay going for outrageous prices.  The different neutrals mixed with fun tassels, and textures, is exactly what I didn't even know I needed.  It will eventually go in the dining room, once we figure out how to hang it properly.  Here, its just hanging from a hanger, since I soaked it (with a helper of course) and hung it to dry. $4.99
Home DIY Books: Patios & Decks, Step by Step Household Repairs, and Basic Wiring, 69, 49, and 69 cents respectively.  I've really gotten into the thrift store books lately, so many great titles and topics that cost mere pennies.  This Patio book is seriously the best thing ever- so many ideas, styled to perfection- the picture on the front doesn't do it justice.
Christmas Ornaments: Can't pass these mini ornaments up, especially when they are only 99 cents!
Table Runner: Cross stitched to perfection, this baby is white and blue, and has fringe- what more could you want?  Had to pick this up for the dining room table.  99 cents
Zig Zags: This print reminded me of the 70sesq Missoni prints, it is a fitted sheet, a seat pad, and back pad for a chair.  Perfect for a guest bedroom switch up at, $3 for the chair pads, and $2.99 for the fitted sheet.  ($2.99 is more than I'd usually be willing to pay, but I couldn't leave it behind.)  Upon further inspection I realized that it was homemade, even better! (Also, seems a little Wary Meyers, that can't be bad!)
Net, Hanger Things: You can get these at any home goods store, (with the little glass orbs in them), they are for decorating your porch or patio, but I thought they were neat.  I'm going to use them as hanging planters- something different than the traditional, and for 69 cents you can't say no.
