Garden Progress: 1 month, June to July.
Since the last garden update the tomatoes have doubled in size, coming in at over 6 feet tall with giant tomatoes on them- what happened to all of the cherry ones I planted?  There are two huge green bell peppers that I am leaving on the vine till they turn red.  There is more basil than we know what to do with and the lettuce is growing in nicely (lettuce is all from seed).
Cucumbers are growing all the way up the trellis but are suffering some ill effects from all the rain, so I've had to trim quite a few of its leaves.  The zucchini plants are huge and needing to be staked up.  I added a banana pepper plant in this bed since it was on sale at Lowes and the beets weren't showing signs of thriving.
Here are the giant tomatoes- with my hand for reference. There are many more like this too.
Another giant bell pepper and some dandelion greens- they're 'organic' baby.

Sometimes you need some progress photos to see how you're doing.  I was kind of down on the garden, after the blight and lots of trimming I thought it was over, but oh hey I'm still doing it right!  Our compost is ready for use so I spread some over the garden and am 'brewing' some compost tea (feeling fancy!), sopostedly this stuff makes your garden grow like mad.
