Craigslist had a 'free' listing for 'U-Pick Lettuce' lettuce the other day. Since it was literally within walking distance from my office, I walked down with two gals and we picked lettuce. This guy had a huge patch of lettuce that he grew from seed for salads and to feed his guinea pigs and rabbits. Whatever the case may be, we picked a bag full (on the hottest day ever), for free.
