I'm totally not a gusher, but A. look how cute my husband is, and B. look at that potato harvest! This is the first year to try potatoes and I wasn't sure what we would get from it. We did an early harvest, you can do July or August from what I read.
Also, check out the squash growing to the left behind him.
Here is our harvest from the other night, this is a giant bucket so its a quite a few pounds of potatoes (between 5-10 lbs I would guess). There is also green beans, we have them coming out the wazoo, and cabbage leaves here.
This is another one of our squashes, it is about the size of a football right now and still growing. We have squashes coming up all over, I might have been a bit overzealous with 9 squash plants in a smallish area (and two pumpkins, 1 melon, and more vining monsters). Currently they are growing out and over trellis', over the fence containing the entire garden, and along the ground.
