Brass is Boss.

You may remember this little shot I snapped via instagram last week, showing off my full cart while thrifting. Well here's all that stuff! 

I have a little list of things I want to remember to look for while thrifting.  This week I hit the jackpot and got to cross off a bunch of long time list-inhibitors.   

Faux Bamboo Brass & Glass Stacking Tables: This is something I was looking for, perfect little girly night stand for the guest room.  They took quite a bit of cleaning, but they are seriously awesome! $3.00

Brass Lamp: Can you tell I’m serious about brass right now? Stick a modern shade on this baby and it’s a great pop of metallic in the room.  Not sure where its going yet.  $1.50

Glass Dome: I’ve been looking for a glass dome for a while now, trying to make a homemade version of those ikea dome lamps.  Going to try and stick a sting of Christmas lights under it to create some soft illumination. $0.50

Lamp Shade: This shade matches another shade we have in the dining room.  I am thinking it will fit a lamp we already have that has proven hard to fit.  $0.30

Duck Baskets: These are pretty small, palm of your hand size, I can’t quite decide if they are really cool or really wrong.  I'm gonna go with cool, I think they will add some texture to side tables and such.  $0.50

  
Ledu Clip on Camp Light: I thought this was really cool with the bright white shade and industrial shape.  When I got home I looked it up, and found that it’s about an $89-$110 dollar lamp!  Score!  I think it might be missing a piece of the clamp, but we can fix that. $2.25

Our cat Fritz wanted to get in on the action, she thinks she's a model.
Straw Bag: I’m going to do a little project with this, and once the wooden animal beads are snipped off, they can be recycled in my craft closet. $0.75

Sheer Curtain: These curtains are hard to photograph correctly, they have a slight texture that looks really pretty in the light.  I have a few of these in longer lengths, but this shorter length will be good for the bathroom window. (More on that later) $1.50

I usually go thrifting on Sundays, but have been making the trip on Monday for 25% off day.  This week I literally squealed out loud when the cashier announced my total; a grand $11.23 for a whole basket!
