We desperately needed a dining room table. Craigslist seemed like the reasonable route, since I knew we wanted a vintage piece. Something like this, as seen on Secrets of a Stylist, was what I was envisioning. Something with clean lines and darker wood- think 70s simple. After a few tables fell threw (we didn't want to pay full price), we decided to just man up and pay the full $200 these people were asking. Here's what it looked like on Craigslist:
Pretty promising. Came with a credenza, an extra leaf, and table pads. Here is what it looks like in our dining room, (with our flea market rug.)
Really pretty rectangular shape with a slight curve.
Credenza fits all my table linens and more.
The chairs need recovering, that purple has got to go(!), but that's a project for another day.
