I've been seeing pictures of fun outdoor activities all over the place, so, I put together a little surprise picnic at our local park to break up a regular work week.
My 'theme' as of lately is red, white, and blue- the all American color scheme. I just think it's so classic and fun, you can't possibly go wrong. I kept my red, white, and blue theme in mind when thrifting the the other day, and came out with this classic park blanket. I also added red, white, and blue pom poms to my picnic basket, and covered the inside with blue checked dish towels to keep the theme strong. Perfect picnic gear!
We feasted on cheese and crackers, turkey sandwiches, apple slices, bbq potato chips, and chocolate covered peanuts for desert. Although it's not allowed we had glasses of wine (out of plastic cups) to finish off the classy-ness of our cheese and cracker plate, ha.
Picnic gear all in tow, wishing it was Saturday rather than Tuesday!
