Granola seems like a comforting snack, breakfast, or really an any time food. When I went to look for recipes, I couldn't find any that really struck my fancy, so I decided to make my own version.
Most of the ingredients on a cookie tray.
Slicing up some dried mango.
Sausing it up.
I enjoyed mine with milk for breakfast the next morning.
Ingredients:
5 or 6 cups Oats
Pumpkin Seeds (organic from our garden!)
Handful of Raisins
Handful Golden Raisins
Extra Large Handful Craisins
Sprinkle of Dried Mango
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/2 Bottle of Honey
1 tsp Vanilla
1 tbsp Cinnamon
Sprinkle of Nutmeg
Combine all dry ingredients on a cookie tray, mix up.
Combine Brown sugar, honey, cinnamon, vanilla, and nutmeg in saucepan. Bring to a light boil, pour over cookie tray mix.
Mix well, don't worry if it looks like all dry ingredients aren't covered- a little goes a long way here.
Bake on 350 for 25 minutes.
