After 2+ weeks of torrential downpour-flood warnings, high winds, the whole bit-my garden now has fungus or 'blight'. Caused by excess water sitting on the leaves, not enough ventilation, and general dampness, the fungus grows and can wreck your plants. Searching online the only solutions offered were highly chemical- not something I want for my organic garden. This is why I love Youtube, so many real people with organic options, showing you exactly how to do it. I'm going to try pruning the damaged leaves, using a diluted vinegar spray, and also using a baking soda wash. Simple, organic, and things I already have at home.
Here is a garden that is super inspiring to me; Second And Edgemont. A naturally lush space with perfectly placed bird feeders. I'm taking this one with me as I have a long weekend ahead with lots of tree trimming, weeding, and hedge clipping (don't worry there is also some fun things thrown in there like yoga in the park, and going to the pool and farmers market).
